Keeping the Dream Alive
Fifty years ago, on August 28th, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) delivered his ‘I Have A Dream’ speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
A man of deep principle, Dr. King personifies being a healthy leader in many ways. Deep self awareness, a life of positive emotions, and the uncanny ability for resilience are just a few of the healthy characteristics he exhibited. Constantly adapting to changing circumstances, his higher purpose, his deep sense of generosity, and ability to build a community of believers makes Martin Luther King Jr. our Grounded Leader of the Week.
